In the early 2000s, Evansville took steps to revitalize the Main Street area of downtown. Part of which was the Main Street Loft Program. Architectural Renovators used this grant program for the renovation of 14 SE 3rd Street. InterPro Barbers occupies the first floor with two apartments above. Although this building doesn’t necessarily have a distinctive history outlined in old newspaper articles or other records, it does contribute to the urban, mixed-use environment that is the perfect fit for downtown Evansville.
